In practice, Self-Inquiry is the dissolution of belief in false definitions attributed to one’s identity. Such definitions yield the delusion of the self being distinct from the Absolute, of one’s identity being that of a separate Individual or Ego-entity. The relinquishment of these false definitions, or Mis-identifications, is essential in knowing the Self.

There is only one Self & nothing but the Self. Know that & everything else is known. You are the Self, nothing but the Self, anything else is just Imagination, so be the Self here & now. Carry on with your essential activities but free yourself from association with the Doer of them. Self is the Witness, you are That.

When Self-Realization happens, Mind is no longer there. However, you do not get Sel f-Realization by getting rid of the mind. It happens when you understand & know that the Mind never existed. It is the recognition of what is Real & True, & the abandonment of mistaken ideas about the reality & substantiality of this ephemeral shadow you call the Mind.
